TARVER, AND WALTERS
HIGHWAYS/INTERSTATE:  Designates a portion of Louisiana Highway 171 as the
"Claude 'Buddy' Leach Memorial Highway"
1	AN ACT
2To designate the portion of Louisiana Highway 171, in Leesville, Louisiana as the "Claude
3 'Buddy' Leach Memorial Highway" and to provide for related matters.
4Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1.  The portion of Louisiana Highway 171, at the intersection of Highway
6171 and Boone Street to East Louisiana Street, in Leesville, Louisiana, shall be known and
7is hereby designated as the "Claude 'Buddy' Leach Memorial Highway".
8 Section 2.  The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
9hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
10provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
11actual cost for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to
12exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.

appropriate signage reflecting this highway designation provided local or private monies are

received by the DOTD equal to its actual cost for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and
installation of each sign, not to exceed the sum of $550 per sign.
