1 AN ACT
2 To designate the portion of Louisiana Highway 171, in Leesville, Louisiana, as the "Claude
3 'Buddy' Leach Memorial Highway" and to provide for related matters.
4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1. The portion of Louisiana Highway 171, at the intersection of Highway
6 171 and Boone Street to East Louisiana Street, in Leesville, Louisiana, shall be known and
7 is hereby designated as the "Claude 'Buddy' Leach Memorial Highway".
8 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
9 hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
10 provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
11 actual cost for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to
12 exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.
