Requests the La. State Bar Association to raise awareness about all legal options including but not
limited to supported decision-making, power of attorney, continuing and permanent tutorship, and
limited and full interdiction and to assist parents and guardians of children with disabilities to obtain
the legal option that best suits their families.
Summary of Amendments Adopted by House
The Committee Amendments Proposed by House Committee on Civil Law and Procedure to the
original bill:
1. Specify that the La. State Bar Association help parents and guardians obtain other legal
options that best suit their families.
