ACT 147 (SB 163) 2024 Regular Session Edmonds
Existing law establishes the Advisory Council on Heroin and Opioid Prevention and
Education and requires the council to establish an Interagency Heroin and Opioid
Coordination Plan.
Existing law requires the plan to be submitted annually to the Drug Policy Board, governor,
president of the Senate, speaker of the House, and chief justice of the La. Supreme Court.
New law changes the reporting deadline from the end of each calendar year to March 15, to
reflect the data of the previous calendar year.
Effective May 22, 2024.
