Present law provides for the designation of controlled dangerous substances in Schedules I, II, III,
IV, and V of the Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Law.
Proposed law adds Tianeptine, a non-prescription antidepressant, to Schedule I of the Uniform
Controlled Dangerous Substances Law.
Effective August 1, 2024.
