ACT 36 (SB 211) 2024 Regular Session Lambert
Existing law provides for possession and size limits of filleted spotted sea trout and red drum
by licensed fishermen who can demonstrate use of a boat launch south of U.S. Highway 90
and that they have been actively on the water or at a camp accessible only by boat for at least
two days.
New law retains existing law but provides that the commission may set the size limit for
fillets of spotted sea trout and red drum.
Effective August 1, 2024.
