Present law provides the Department of Transportation and Development shall establish a blanket
oversize yearly permit for vehicles.
Proposed law retains present law and further provides upon application, the secretary shall issue a
special permit authorizing the vehicle or combination of vehicles to operate with the use of one
permit.
Effective August 1, 2024.
