ACT 49 (SB 45) 2024 Regular Session McMath
New law designates a portion of Interstate 12 in St. Tammany Parish as the "Patricia 'Pat'
Brister Memorial Bridge" and authorizes DOTD to erect and maintain signs for the bridge
provided local or private monies are received equal to the department's actual costs not to
exceed $1,680 per sign.
New law designates a portion of U.S. Hwy 51 in St. John the Baptist Parish as the "Arnold
J. Lebat Memorial Highway" and authorizes DOTD to erect and maintain signs for the
highway provided local or private monies are received equal to the department's actual costs
not to exceed $550 per sign.
Effective August 1, 2024.
