Present law provides the Department of Transportation and Development may prohibit the operation
of vehicles upon any highway of this state or impose restrictions as to the weight of vehicles because
of substandard condition or because of climatic conditions.
Proposed law directs the Department to impose weight limit restrictions on certain vehicles on La.
Hwy 1019.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
