Abstract: Removes the deadline for the board of commissioners of the Amite River Basin Drainage
and Water Conservation District to promulgate regulations for watershed management.
Present law requires that the board of the Amite River Basin Drainage and Water Conservation
District promulgate regulations for watershed management by Jan. 1, 2026.
Proposed law removes the requirement that the regulations be promulgated by Jan. 1, 2026.
