HB 393 Original	2025 Regular Session	Bamburg
Abstract:  Provides an exception to certain locations where a person cannot carry a concealed
handgun.
Present law provides for locations where a person cannot bring a concealed handgun.
Proposed law retains present law, but amends the provision relative to a parade or demonstration for
which a permit is issued by a governmental entity to clarify that a person or permittee is prohibited
from carrying a concealed handgun at a parade or demonstration when he is an active participant in
such parade or demonstration.
Proposed law does not apply to a bystander or spectator who attends a parade or demonstration for
which a permit is issued by a governmental entity.
