Abstract: Authorizes the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, wildlife and fisheries commission,
to promulgate rules and regulations for establishing a red drum tag program.
Proposed law provides for the Dept. of Wildlife and Fisheries, wildlife and fisheries commission,
to establish a program to make available a red drum tag for killing red drum that are larger than the
27" limit provided by present law.
Proposed law requires that the health of the population of red drum be considered when making
available tags for killing red drum larger than 27".
Proposed law establishes a $25 fee for the red drum tag and provides for the expenditure of the fee.
