Abstract: Requires the La. Dept. of Health to establish and collect an annual fee from a retail permit
holder authorized to sell therapeutic marijuana.
Present law requires the annual renewal of a retail permit to sell recommended marijuana for
therapeutic use. Present law requires the proper application and payment of fees as required by the
La. Dept. of Health (LDH).
Proposed law requires LDH to establish and collect an annual fee of $5000 from each retail permit
holder authorized to sell recommended therapeutic marijuana.
