Designates the portion of La. Hwy. 466 in the city of Gretna, between Franklin Street and Huey P.
Long Avenue as the "Chief B.H. Miller, Jr. Memorial Parkway".
Designates the elevated portion of La. Hwy. 31 in the town of Arnaudville, which crosses Bayou
Fuselier as the "Coach Raymond Lavergne Sr. Memorial Bridge".
Directs the Dept. of Transportation and Development (DOTD) to erect and maintain appropriate
signage reflecting these designations provided local or private monies are received by DOTD equal
to its actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to
exceed the sum of $550 per sign.
Summary of Amendments Adopted by House
The Committee Amendments Proposed by House Committee on Transportation, Highways and
Public Works to the original bill:
1. Add the designation of the elevated portion of La. Hwy. 31 in St. Martin Parish as the
"Coach Raymond Lavergne Sr. Memorial Bridge".
