Abstract: Authorizes the Acadiana Criminalistics Laboratory Commission to name the new
Acadiana Criminalistics Laboratory building.
Present law establishes the Acadiana Criminalistics Laboratory District as a political subdivision for
the operation of the Acadiana Criminalistics Laboratory for the purpose of crime detection,
prevention, and investigation. Provides that the district is governed by the Acadiana Criminalistics
Laboratory Commission.
Proposed law authorizes the Acadiana Criminalistics Laboratory Commission to name the new
Acadiana Criminalistics Laboratory building the Martin Bofill "Bo" Duhe' Acadiana Criminalistics
Laboratory.
