LEGIS POWERS/FUNCTIONS. Names the boat launch at Bussey Brake the William
Kinnison "Kinny" Haddox Boat Launch. (8/1/25)
1 AN ACT
2 To provide relative to wildlife management areas, to designate the boat launch on the
3 Bussey Brake Wildlife Management Area in Morehouse Parish as the "William
4 Kinnison 'Kinny' Haddox Boat Launch"; to provide for location and placement of
5 signage; and to provide for related matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the boat
8 launch located near the north entrance of the Bussey Brake Wildlife Management Area in
9 Morehouse Parish, is hereby designated as the "William Kinnison 'Kinny' Haddox Boat
10 Launch".
11 Section 2. The Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is hereby directed to erect and
12 maintain appropriate signs of this designation.
