MEDICAID. Establishes Medicaid reimbursement rates for certain behavioral health
services. (7/1/25)
1	AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 46:460.77.4, relative to Medicaid reimbursement rates for behavioral health
3 services; to require certain behavioral health services to be reimbursed at one
4 hundred percent of Medicare rates; to provide for an effective date; and to provide
5 for related matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. R.S. 46:460.77.4 is hereby enacted to read as follows:
8 ยง460.77.4. Reimbursement for certain behavioral health services
9	The Medicaid reimbursement rate for services provided as part of a
10 partial hospitalization program or intensive outpatient program shall be
11 reimbursed at one hundred percent of Medicare rates.
12 Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2025; if vetoed by the governor
13 and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on the day
14 following such approval by the legislature or July 1, 2025, whichever is later.
