SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 7

A RESOLUTION
To commend and congratulate Mason Daniel Hill on being selected the 2024-2025 "Student
of the Year", as a graduating senior, at French Settlement High School in Livingston
Parish.
WHEREAS, graduating from high school is an important milestone in a student's life
that signifies success in academics and the achievement of one's goals; and
WHEREAS, graduating from high school is also one of the most important indicators
of future success in life, including employment prospects, income potential, and overall
health; and
WHEREAS, Mason Daniel Hill is set to graduate from French Settlement High
School in May 2025, and it is appropriate to recognize him for all of his accomplishments
throughout his high school career; and
WHEREAS, beyond his academic achievements, Mason has been a leader in both
his school and community; and
WHEREAS, during his time at French Settlement High School, Mason was a
member of the Beta Club and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes; and
WHEREAS, he was also a member of the French Settlement baseball and basketball
teams; and
WHEREAS, in addition to his extracurricular activities, and his duties at French
Settlement High School, Mason has worked diligently to prepare himself for college and
plans to play collegiate baseball while pursuing a career in electrical engineering; and
WHEREAS, Mason Daniel Hill exemplifies the very best of students in the Class of
2025 and his future holds incredible promise; and
WHEREAS, through his academic achievements and his community involvement,
Mason has formed a solid foundation upon which his future successes can be built, and it is
only fitting to acknowledge the accomplishment of Mason Daniel Hill upon being selected
"Student of the Year" at French Settlement High School in Livingston Parish.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby commend and congratulate Mason Daniel Hill on being selected the 2024-2025
"Student of the Year" at French Settlement High School in Livingston Parish.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Mason Daniel Hill.
