Expressing support for the designation of June 26 as "LGBTQI+ Equality Day".
Recognizing and supporting the continued efforts and contributions of the City of Ferndale to the LGBTQIA+ community of the State of Michigan.
Honoring the legacy of the Harlem Renaissance, a cultural, social, and political movement in American history.
Supporting the goals and ideals of the Rise Up for LGBTQI+ Youth in Schools Initiative, a call to action to communities across the country to demand equal educational opportunity, basic civil rights protections, and freedom from erasure for all students, particularly LGBTQI+ young people, in K-12 schools.
Honoring the life and legacy of Henry Louis Aaron.
This resolution honors the life, achievements, legacy, and distinguished public service of former President Jimmy Carter. The resolution also (1) acknowledges President Carter's contributions to the state of Georgia, the United States, and the world; and (2) establishes his legacy as one of the great leaders and statesmen of the United States.
