Provides that in order to present the claim for unjust conviction and imprisonment, claimant must establish by documentary evidence that: they has been convicted of one or more felonies or misdemeanors against the state and subsequently sentenced to a term of imprisonment, and has served all or any part of the sentence; and they have had the one or more felonies and misdemeanors dismissed with prejudice following serving all or part of the sentence; and their claim is not time-barred.
Provides for tiered and reduced penalties for the offenses of larceny, and shoplifting, classifies certain shoplifting offenses as petty misdemeanors and repeals habitual offender provisions.
Relating to the prevention of, prosecution of, penalties for, and other consequences of prostitution, trafficking of persons, and related criminal offenses and to orders of nondisclosure for persons who committed certain of those offenses; regulating occupations and property to prevent and respond to those criminal offenses, including requiring a student occupational permit for those purposes; authorizing fees; increasing criminal penalties; creating criminal offenses.
