Exempts citywide/community education councils (CCECs), school leadership teams (SLTs) and district leadership teams (DLTs) from the in-person quorum requirements for videoconferencing by public bodies.
Provides for the employment of school nurses for the inspection of pupils attending certain public schools; relates to school districts and boards of cooperative educational services.
Requires school districts, public libraries, BOCES, county vocational education and extension boards, charter schools, and non-public schools to provide and maintain on-site opioid antagonists.
Exempts persons holding the offices of public health director and director of community services of St. Lawrence county from the requirement that such person be a resident of the political subdivision or municipal corporation of the state for which such person shall be chosen or within which such person's official functions are required to be exercised.
Provides for temporary exemptions to educational institutions from certain requirements related to the use of multi-occupancy bathrooms and locker rooms; authorizes the use of state building aid for related facility improvements.
Relates to access to educational activities by public assistance recipients who are subject to work participation requirements; allows homework expected or required by an educational institution to count towards satisfaction of the work activity requirements for public assistance benefits for participants engaged in certain educational or training activities.
