Enacts "CJ's law" in relation to increasing the penalties for leaving the scene of an accident without reporting where such accident resulted in the death of a minor to a class C felony punishable by a fine of not less than four thousand nor more than eight thousand dollars in addition to any other penalties provided by law.
Provides that the penalty for the abandonment of animals is a misdemeanor, punishable by imprisonment for not more than one year, or by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars nor more than one thousand dollars, or by both.
Requires street pricing for pre-packaged food and beverage items sold by vendors at certain transportation facilities and on toll roads; defines street pricing; provides that vendors may be subject to civil penalties not to exceed five hundred dollars per violation.
Prohibits ticket sales that exceed the capacity of a place of entertainment or not-for-profit venue; provides that a violation of such provisions constitutes a misdemeanor punishable by a fine and imprisonment for a period not to exceed one year.
Provides that contractors and subcontractors to cable television companies who are assessed penalties for two separate violations of payroll reporting requirements shall be ineligible to submit a bid on or be awarded any public work contract with the state, any municipal corporation or public body for five years; provides that cable television companies shall be subject to the requirement that workers on certain excavation projects be paid not less than a prevailing rate of wage.
