An Act relative to the placement of children in foster care.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Chapter 18B of General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is 
2hereby amended by inserting after Section 26 the following new Section:-
3 SECTION 26. Notwithstanding any general or special laws to the contrary, the 
4department shall require the language spoken by the child must be the same language spoken in 
5the foster family.
