An Act to modify weekly workers' compensation disability benefits.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Section 34 of chapter 152 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016
2Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 3, the word “sixty” and inserting in
3place thereof the following figure:- 66.
4 SECTION 2. Section 34A of said chapter 152, as so appearing, is hereby amended by
5striking out, in lines 4 and 5, the word “two-thirds” and inserting in place thereof the following
6words:- 70 percent.
7 SECTION 3. Section 35 of said chapter 152, as so appearing, is hereby amended by
8striking out, in line 14, the words “two hundred sixty” and inserting in place thereof the
9following figure:- 520. 2 of 2
10 SECTION 4. Said section 35 of said chapter 152, as so appearing, is hereby further
11amended by striking out, in line 15 and lines 29 and 30, the words “five hundred twenty” and
12inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following figure:- 780.
13 SECTION 5. Said section 35 of said chapter 152, as so appearing, is hereby further
14amended by striking out, in line 32, the words “three hundred sixty-four” and inserting in place
15thereof the following figure:- 520.
