An Act relative to physician assistant non-competes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby 
2amended by inserting after section 9K the following section:-
3 Section 9L. Any contract or agreement which creates or establishes the terms of a 
4partnership, employment, or any other form of professional relationship with a physician 
5assistant registered to practice as a physician assistant pursuant to section 9E which includes any 
6restriction of the right of such physician assistant to practice as a physician assistant in any 
7geographical area for any period of time after the termination of such partnership, employment 
8or professional relationship shall be void and unenforceable with respect to said restriction. 
9Nothing in this section shall render void or unenforceable any other provision of any such 
10contract or agreement.
