[SIMILAR MATTER FILED IN PREVIOUS SESSION SEE HOUSE, NO. 3885 OF 2021-2022.] The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act requiring public safety vehicles to be equipped with emergency thermal blankets. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Chapter 6A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 18Z the 2following section:- 3 Section 18AA. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, all emergency 4response vehicles shall be equipped with an emergency thermal blanket. For the purposes of this 5section the term emergency response vehicle shall include, but not be limited to, a fire apparatus, 6police vehicle, ambulance or disaster vehicle.
