An Act reducing filing fees for single member LLCs.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 12 of chapter 156C, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking subsection
2(d) of paragraph (9) and inserting in place thereof the following:
3 The fee for the filing of the certificate of organization required by subsection (a) shall be
4five hundred dollars. The fee for the filing of the annual report required by subsection (c) shall be
5two hundred and fifty dollars for any such limited liability company with a single member; or
6five hundred dollars for any other such limited liability company. Such fees shall be paid to the
7state secretary at the time the certificate of organization or the annual report is filed.
