Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Section 139 of chapter 164 of the General Laws of 2018 is hereby amended 2by striking the first sentence of the third paragraph of subsection (j) and inserting in place thereof 3the following:- 4 The department shall exempt from any monthly minimum reliability contribution the 5following: municipal ratepayers, low-income ratepayers, community solar ratepayers, and 6owners of small-scale solar projects of 25 kilowatts or less.
