An Act relative to the transportation impacts of new developments.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Chapter 30 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after 
2section 62I the following section:-
3 Section 62J.
4 All buildings and developments that require an Environmental Impact Report and will 
5generate 1,000 or more daily trips or result in the construction of 300 or more new more parking 
6spaces shall be required to join and participate in the local Transportation Management 
7Association (TMA) if there is a TMA serving the municipality. Membership must be ongoing 
8and in good standing while the building or development is occupied.
