12) of Smitty Pignatelli and Paul W. Mark for legislation to designate a portion of state highway
Routes 23 west and 41 south in the town of Egremont as the George McGurn memorial highway.

An Act designating a portion of state highway route 23 west and 41 south in the town of
Egremont as the George McGurn memorial highway.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 The portion of Egremont Main Road, state highway route 23 west and 41 south, in the
2town of Egremont from Creamery Road to North Undermountain Road shall be designated and
3known as the George McGurn Memorial highway. The Massachusetts Department of
4Transportation is hereby directed to erect suitable markers along said highway bearing said
5designation in accordance with the standards of the department.
