The committee on Labor and Workforce Development, to whom were 
referred the petition (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1196) of Edward J. 
Kennedy and Mathew J. Muratore for legislation to raise employment and 
combating opioids through vocational education and rehabilitation 
(RECOVER); and the petition (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1219) of 
Rebecca L. Rausch for legislation to establish a standard for prevention of 
heat illness in outdoor public sector workers, reports recommending that 
the accompanying order (House, No. 4873) ought to be adopted.

1 Ordered, That the committee on Labor and Workforce Development be authorized to sit 
2during a recess of the General Court to make an investigation and study of Senate documents 
3numbered 1196 and 1219, relative to job training and heat illness.
4 Said committee shall report to the General Court the results of its investigation and study 
5and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry such 
6recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the Clerk of the House of Representatives 
7on or before December 31, 2024.
