The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act to increase special education transportation reimbursement from 75% to 90%. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Section 5A of chapter 71B of the General Laws, as appearing the 2020 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in subsection (c) the words “and 3transportation”. 4 SECTION 2: Section 5A of chapter 71B of the General Laws, as appearing the 2020 5Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “threshold.” , the following: 6Transportation costs shall be reimbursed at 90%.
