An Act relative to continuing education of insurance producers.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 177E of chapter 175 of the General Laws, as appearing in 2014 Official Edition, 
2is hereby amended by inserting after subsection E the following subsection:-
3 E ½. The commissioner may award up to 3 hours per year of continuing insurance 
4education to a person holding 1 or more such licenses for an active annual membership in The 
5National Association of Insurance and Financial Agents of Massachusetts, Inc.; provided, 
6however, that not more than 9 hours of continuing insurance education may be awarded to a 
7person holding 1 or more such licenses for membership in The National Association of Insurance 
8and Financial Agents of Massachusetts, Inc. during a 36 month reporting period. Credit for 
9continuing insurance education pursuant to this subsection may only be awarded to a person  2 of 2
10holding 1 or more such licenses who is required to complete at least 45 hours of continuing 
11education per 36 month reporting period.
