An Act relative to public safety in hoisting regulations.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 53 of Chapter 146 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, 
2is hereby amended by inserting after subsection (e) the following subsection:-
3 (f) Subsection (e) shall not apply to a public utility company or other company during the 
4course of an employee strike or lockout except during the period of a declared emergency by the 
5governor.
