An Act to lift the rental tax deduction limit.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Section 3 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 
2Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 109, the figure “$3,000” and inserting 
3in place thereof the following figure:- $4,000.
4 SECTION 2. Section 1 shall be effective for tax years beginning on or after January 1, 
52023.
