The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act relative to net metering fairness. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Section 9 (j) of Chapter 75 of the Acts of 2016 is hereby amended by striking the first 2sentence of the third paragraph and inserting at the beginning of the paragraph:- "The department 3shall exempt any monthly minimum reliability contribution for low-income ratepayers and 4community solar ratepayers. The department may exempt or modify any monthly minimum 5reliability contribution for municipal ratepayers."
