Whipps for legislation to provide veteran annuity benefits to Raymond Steele. Veterans and Federal Affairs. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act providing veteran annuity benefits to Raymond Steele. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 6B of chapter 115 of the General Laws or any 2other general or special law to the contrary, the executive office of veterans’ services shall 3retroactively approve and pay to Raymond Steele an amount equal to 2 annuity payments, under 4said section 6B of said chapter 115, for the months of August of 2020 and February of 2021, as if 5he had been approved for such payments at the time of his service-connected disability. 6 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
