An Act establishing statewide food truck regulations.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to 
which is to establish forthwith regulations for health inspections of food trucks operating in the 
commonwealth, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the 
immediate preservation of the public health.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Chapter 111 of the General laws is hereby amended by adding the 
2following section:-
3 Section 244. The commissioner of public health shall promulgate regulations for the 
4annual health inspection of food trucks. The commissioner shall prescribe rules and regulations 
5relative to inspection schedules, documentation of inspections, standards for acceptable 
6cleanliness and the costs of such inspections. 
7 SECTION 2. The commissioner of public health shall promulgate the regulations set 
8forth in section 1 not later than 1 year after the enactment of this act.
