An Act relative to adoptions.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 2 of chapter 210 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, 
2is hereby amended by striking out lines 47 to 49, inclusive, and inserting in place thereof the 
3following paragraph:-
4 Any surrender given outside of the commonwealth shall be valid for the purpose of this 
5section if it was taken in accordance with the laws of the commonwealth or the laws of the place 
6where it was executed.
