An Act to support communities and immigrants.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 Chapter 18 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 official edition, is hereby
2amended by adding the following section:-
3 Section 40. An Act Relative to Educational Funding
4 (a) The department of education shall establish an assistance program to ensure
5municipalities that are experiencing sudden influxes of immigrant populations.
