An Act clarifying Massachusetts health coverage for ex-spouses.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 5A of Chapter 176G of the General Laws, as appearing in the official 2020 
2edition, is amended by adding the following subsection: 
3 (f) This section shall apply to employees who are based in a Massachusetts office of their 
4employer and are Massachusetts residents, regardless of the location in which the employer is 
5based.
