An Act relative to maintaining independent authority over nursing licensure in the 
commonwealth.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 14 of Chapter 13 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting the 
2following section:-
3 (l) maintain independent control over the practice and licensure of nursing in the 
4Commonwealth.
