An Act relative to education or training activities for purposes of meeting the Department of
Transitional Assistance work requirement.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 18 of Chapter 118 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition,
2is hereby amended by inserting at the end of the section, the following paragraph:-
3 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the commissioner of the
4department or the commissioner’s designee will promulgate rules and regulations for the purpose
5of meeting the work requirement for applicants seeking a master’s degree in, but not limited to,
6nursing and social work.
