An Act relative to employment benefits of certain employees of the Department of 
Developmental Services.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 32 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting 
2after the word “prisoners” in line 252 the following words: 
3 employees of the Department of Developmental Services and Massachusetts Commission 
4for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing holding the positions of Human Services Coordinator A/B or 
5Human Services Coordinator I, Human Services Coordinator C or Human Services Coordinator 
6II, Human Services Coordinator D or Human Services Coordinator III, Residential Supervisors 
7A/B or Residential Supervisors I, Residential Supervisors C or Residential Supervisors II, and 
8Residential Supervisors D or Residential Supervisors III, as well as other DDS positions that 
9provide care, custody and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities, who are 
10employed in such capacities for 10 years or more.
