State Administration and Regulatory Oversight. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Fourth General Court (2025-2026) _______________ An Act establishing Getting to Zero Week. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart December first through the 2eighth as Getting to Zero Week to increase public awareness, understanding, and recognition of 3our communities’ shared commitment to end the HIV and AIDS epidemic in the Commonwealth 4by getting to zero new cases, zero HIV-related deaths, and zero stigma. The proclamation shall 5recommend that the week in December be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.
