An Act relative to public preschool facilities.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 2 of Chapter 70B is hereby amended by changing the definition of “Capital
2construction project” to the following:-
3 “any capital project, other than a major reconstruction project, for the construction, the
4enlargement or original equipping of any public schoolhouse, including any facility used as a
5public preschool program as defined by Section 1A of Chapter 15D, in any city or town, or a
6project for the renovation or partial renovation of an existing structure for use as a schoolhouse;
7or the renovation or partial renovation of an existing schoolhouse.”
