legislation to prohibit any financial incentives for landlords providing emergency housing for

An Act reforming incentives for landlords.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 30 of Chapter 23B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official 
2Edition, is hereby amended by inserting the following paragraph after the last paragraph:-
3 The Commonwealth shall be prohibited from providing any financial incentives, 
4including but not limited to lump-sum transfer payments or bonus payments, to landlords or 
5property owners for the purpose of prioritizing the housing of nonresident migrants over families 
6or individuals with legal residency in the Commonwealth.
