Anne Arundel County – Alcoholic Beverages – Board of License Commissioners 2
– Term Limits 3
FOR the purpose of prohibiting a member of the Board of License Commissioners for Anne 4
Arundel County from serving more than four consecutive terms; extending the term 5
of a certain member of the Board; and generally relating to the Board of License 6
Commissioners for Anne Arundel County. 7

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 18

(c) (1) The term of a member is 2 years. 3
(2) A MEMBER MAY NOT SERVE MORE THAN FOUR CONSECUTIVE 4
TERMS. 5
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That notwithstanding § 6
11–202(c)(1) of the Alcoholic Beverages Article, as enacted by Section 1 of this Act, the term 7
of the member of the Board of License Commissioners for Anne Arundel County who was 8
initially appointed by the Governor to the Board in 2021 shall expire on April 30, 2024. 9
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect July 10
1, 2022. 11
