AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall be construed to 22 apply only prospectively and may not be applied or interpreted to have any effect on or 23 application to any student–housing contracts entered into by the Maryland Economic 24 Development Corporation before the effective date of this Act. 25 SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect July 26 1, 2022. 27
