BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 12 That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 13 Article – Human Services 14 6–801. 15 (A) For [each] fiscal [year] YEARS 2021 THROUGH 2023, the Governor shall 16 include in the annual State budget an appropriation of $200,000 for the CASH Campaign 17 of Maryland to promote the financial capability of low–income individuals and families by 18 providing outreach, education, and free tax preparation services. 19 (B) FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024 AND EACH FISCAL YEAR THEREAFTER , THE 20 GOVERNOR SHALL INCLUD E IN THE ANNUAL BUDG ET BILL AN APPROPRIA TION OF 21 $500,000 FOR THE CASH CAMPAIGN. 22 SECTION 2.
